Specially Designed Being Lightweight and Waterproof The compartment cover being the battery cover requires a bit of force to remove, as it contains a water proof gasket. The inlet connects to your water output and the outlet connects to a hose. It can be used with a 3/4" garden hose thread. In order to avoid water leakage from the inlet side, you can use the included O ring that fits inside where the mesh filter is. Weather Resistant Construction The timer has a nice sized led screen to easily read the numbers you are programming and shows you all the information at once, like battery level, current time, time left until next start, when watering is active, how long before it shuts off and how much battery life is left. Easy to install, include easy to follow instructions The manual will show how to set the timer being easy to read and the programming to use the device is very straightforward. Setting this timer is very easy and works by steps. The device is controlled using one knob and 4 buttons. The first thing to do is set the clock. From the OFF position, turn clockwise to SET CLOCK. Setting was fast, pressing the +/- buttons for hours, then pressing OK to select minutes and +/- to adjust. Once clock is set, turning the knob clockwise for the next step. You can set a START TIME, the same way you set your clock, and moving the knob, you can adjust HOW LONG will watering taking place from start time, and finally, the last setting is for HOW OFTEN. If it is raining, you can set a delay to skip the next start schedule. There is even a manual mode where you can start the water and set a duration.
