Love this toaster! It makes me smile to see the timer lighting up. It just seems 'special.' I guess I am easy to entertain! I love the matte finish (black). Now I can put in a slice of bread that is elongated in shape and it isn't sticking out of the toaster for me to stand there waiting to reposition it at some point. It seems we are all conditioned to typically purchase a two-slot toaster and all suffer the rye bread not fitting. Now my friends think I am a wise shopper. I do too! I highly recommend this toaster.One mention: The first two times you use it, it does have an off-putting new machine smell but it does go away.This is a large toaster but it works well and looks good too. I like the timer that you can glance at to see how much longer the toast has to go. Cancel button comes in handy sometimes too!It's a 4 slot toaster. It works. No toaster is easy to clean. Also, the digital timer is really nice.I didn’t realize how picky some are about their toast. I like this toaster! It works well and, ya know, toasts my bread, English muffins, etc.I absolutely loved it nice streamline but this morning it started toasting like I have it on bagel SO ITS ONLY BROWNING ON ONE SIDE less than 2 months old. Guess I’m going to dig old one out of goodwill box. I have old one since 2005 and it works great but it’sbulky Cjanged my review because it does work if you put bread in both slotsGreat looking toaster but more importantly the long slots provide a wide array of toasting options including slices of wider, broader artisan breads! I always hated cutting long slices of sourdough bread in half just to fit them in the toaster slots. And those wide slots also accommodate multiple slices of bread when there are extra mouths to feed. Overall love this toasterI bought this new toaster because I was tired of having my bread toast on one side. I guess that's what happens when you only use one slice of bread. I only found out after purchasing this toaster. Live and learn, huh?Worth the price and has a timer to let you know how much time is left. We enjoy the bagel setting. It toasts without burning or making the bread rock hard. Love it!!Actually toasted better than KitchenAid that I returned. Have found best results with denser rye artisan style bread, on settings 4 or 5 then flip and toast again around 1+ for even dark toasting. Careful of lighter or small bread slices as there is a tendency to launch them onto counter. But overall a usable toaster. Probably great for those folk less finicky about their toast. Comes with a picture guide of how certain breads toast from side A & B which sorta comes out true but not all the time. Only had about a month.Arrived promptly in perfect condition. Works really well and have no issues whatsoever. Have seen a couple reviews saying it 'pops up too high' or that it toasts unevenly, but I haven't experienced this at all. My only criticism is that you need to set the dial one level higher for the level of toastiness you want. Other than that it is a great size and looks super nice!I like most things about this toaster EXCEPT it does not toast both sides evenly. You have a choice of one side raw, or one side burnt. Also, toast does not rise very high when done, so hard to extract form slot.After 6 months, I decided to replace it.
