Really like it, but I had 5 people mess with it before someone figured out how to set the time. Better directions would be great.I bought this model because the buttons are sealed/covered so that I can easily clean it and food won’t get stuck in the button cavity. It works well. I don’t like the alarm which sounds nearly as panicked as a fire alarm. A nice tone or some volume control would have been nice. It has a flashing light and vibration option, but without a clip to put on my apron these options are pretty useless as I wander around the kitchen. The vibration cannot be heard over a boiling pot of stock or sizzling pan. The alarm option is slightly annoying since I don’t use it and I have to “scroll” through the option every time I toggle between timer and clock. The timer buttons allow you to count backwards, but it would be better if I clicked an hour and could count back the minutes to say 45 minutes instead of having to hold the button (which you have to press fairly hard) to get all the way up to 45. I feel like all these problems could have been easily avoided or fixed in a test kitchen. Still, it does the job, the magnets are very strong (to the point of scratching the finish) and you will never miss the sounding alarm even if you were outside the house.I use this for time lapse videos - showing a stopwatch counting up at 30-100x speed. Perfect for this function (9-14 hour stopwatch). I still haven't recharged the AAA batteries after 300 hours of counting.I did leave the stopwatch on once.... It alarmed at 24 hours - I think it reset to 0? I kind of forget (sorry). Might not be great for a stopwatch over 24 hours.I like this timer. It has more features than I really need, but the timer works exactly as it should. I like that it beeps and flashes when the timer goes off. The stand is nice, too. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the magnet on the back is fairly weak (which was mentioned in other reviews). I decided to keep it anyway and I leave a magnet below it so it doesn’t slide off the fridge.Finally, a timer that just works! I've gone through several other products that were dead on arrival before settling on this one. The timer works exactly like the product listing says that it does. My main requirement was being able to set a countdown timer that does not make any noise when it finishes, and I'm able to do exactly that. There's an LED that flashes blue when the time runs out. The rest of the time, I have it set to clock mode and have it configured to show the current time using the 24-hour clock. There's no on/off switch, so I'm not sure how long the batteries will last, but I'm using rechargeable AAAs to solve that problem. Very happy with this purchase.Works like a champ and the magnet is pretty strong.It's easy to set, start and stop. The blinking light is a cool feature.My three remote learning grandchildren are on different schedules and have to be in different places online at different times, so these digital timers have been terrific to help them monitor their time. The two older children, grades 3 and 4, can set and manage their own time, and it's nice for them to see the end of the tunnel as the timer counts down. My kindergartner can't set her own timer, but loves to turn the timer off when it chimes. Watching the time count down is very helpful to her as well, as it helps her see how much time is left in a particular learning segment.This timer does it all. It is easy enough to use that my kids can use it but has all the features I wanted. Well worth the extra cost
