Installation was fairly easy. I really like having the ability to set a time for our bathroom fan and forget about needing to shut it off.I think EVERY bath/shower should have these timers. Set it and forget it. Remove the moisture from your bathroom. I installed the switch myself. Clear instructions, though the electrical box gets a little snug with wires and switches. I installed two and love them. It was hard to find timers in ivory color and I didn't want those wind up styles. Intermatic has all the choices I can imagine. If you shop other brands, be careful - some timers DO NOT work on motors - only lights.Great timers for bathroom fan. It was well needed in our household. I purchased 3. They have a large control box. Only one was a tight fight because of the large control box, so it sticks out a bit from the wall. That will be fixed with a different receptacle cover.After years of trying to remember to turn off the bathroom fan in a reasonable amount of time, we installed one of these timers in each bathroom. I wish we had done it sooner. It works great and is still working fine after 3 years. There's a choice of hold (on until you turn it off), 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. If your fan is already on a multiple plate with other switches, a plate is available with a rectangular hole that fits this as well as regular switches.I use the product in all my bathrooms for the exhaust fans. I love being able to set the time I need (5 min for odor removal and 15 min for shower) and not have to remember to turn it off. The wife is hearing impaired so she can not hear the exhaust fans running. Now I know the fans will not be left on all day. I timed the timers for accuracy and they are perfect.Easy to use for everyone. I am using it on a Bathroom exhaust fan. It has a single button that allows you to choose the length of time. Press once for on at 5 min, twice for 10, etc.Works fine although their 'light almond' is a slightly different shade than my fixture covers by LevitronI've got a dark garage, a tap of the button on the timer will provide me with 5,10,15 or 30 minutes of light, the times can also be locked to on. After I take the car out and close the door the light will go out saving electricity It's quick and easy to use.
