Press the "set" button, the "HOW LONG" icon will show on screen, then use the up and down button to set how long the watering time you want. Automatic Setting "How often" means the interval time between the last watering time and the next. After you set up the watering duration, it will enter into the "HOW OFTEN" setting automatically. Press the up and down button to choose the interval time you need. Delay Watering Start Time The delay watering start time works only when you setting up a new watering schedule each time. It's an optional function, please refer to the instruction when you need it. Manual Mode Automatic Setting Automatic Setting Delay Function Q&A 1 Siphoning Prevent: Place the timer higher than the water level, and make sure the first pot or drip head is higher than the top of the water level in the water reservoir to effectively avoid the siphoning phenomenon. (The siphoning effect will cause the water leaking and over-watering problem) 2 Uneven water flow? There is no water in the tubes in the first time use, the nearest plants will receive more water than the furthest. In this case, please use manual watering to make the water fill full into the tubes and then you plug the drippers into the pots. Besides that, the water flow becomes weaker and weaker in a VERY long distance delivery. To solve the problem, please use some clips to clamp the first few branches, so water in main flow can deliver fast and long. 3 Dripping plants nutrients liquid? We recommend dripping only water with this automatic watering system. 4 Is it waterproof? No, the device is not waterproof, please store it properly. If you drop it into the water by accident, please use the dryer to make the device fully dry as soon as possible. Otherwise, you may need to buy a new one. 5 Alternative Accessories: 1/4” tube, T joints and cross joints and drippers are all included in the package. The tube is standard 1/4”, If you want black one or other dripper type to replace the exist one, you can find them on amazon very easy. 6 Water not go deeper into roots? In this situation, we suggest you loosen the soil first and then insert the stake deep at least 3 inches. This may let the water go into roots. 7 Different plants need the water vary from each other. Some need more water while some not. If you water different plants in one system, we suggest you insert more stakes for those plants that like water than the others. 8 Tubes set-up tips: Soaking the tubes in the hot water for minutes or applying little vegetable oil to the end of the hose, you can connect the tubes to joints more easily. 9 Any questions, don't hesitate to contact with Moistenland service team.

First I think this is a great product, and have two, now. Second, order it well ahead of when you need it. Assembly is required, and that’s the good news - you set the dripping system up custom to your needs and setup. Also, you’ll want plenty of time to test it out and fine tune it, especially if you’re relying on it to keep your plants happy for an extended absence. Got mine two weeks ahead of a vacation; could have used three, but was only gone for a week, so no harm done - just a little overwatering. When assembling, jam the sections of tubing onto the connectors and watering spikes completely. A hair dryer works really well to soften up the tubing so it stretches onto the connectors relatively easily. The tubing has a curve to it that even heating up didn’t completely relax, so allow for this as you assemble your drip line. You’ll want to be sure your drippers all point the same direction. Also know that once tubing is pressed onto the drip spikes, it won’t come off because if the barbs. There is plenty of tubing and spikes, so I didn’t find this a problem. Adding a couple of inches of tubing after the last drip before putting on the end cap helps get more even flow to the last drip.Setting the drip rate and timer took some figuring out, but here it is: press the gear icon at the left to activate the screen. Press it again to activate the “How Long” function, and use the up and down arrows to adjust the seconds. Press it yet again to activate the “How Often” selector; up and down arrows again to set frequency. Press again and you're given the option of delay, which I didn’t use, and one more time to confirm “Set OK.” There’s a pause, and then it runs, so be sure to have your drippers in jars (if setting up multiple individual plants) or a bucket if setting up multiple drippers for one large plant, so you can test the flow rateI wound up not using the spikes because in the case of the seedlings they disturbed a fragile root structure, and in the case if a Calamondin couldn’t get them in because roots were so dense. Used the drippers alone to flood the seedling tray and a ring of drippers to surface water the Calamondin.
