My grandson likes itI bought this for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. Perfect as a nightlight or party light when she wants to play. Also has a timer and spins.When I first bought it we had issues. I have to buy the proper plug when you have to buy separately. I love the colors and shapes I just wish it lasted long that 95 minutes.Wire is very sensitive and causes projector to shut off at slightest touch. Spinning function stopped working.Works great and looks great when it works. Had one for about a year and a half, used it nightly with LEDs and rotation.Ours did stop rotating at around a year and a half of use. I bought another but did disassemble this one (was outside of warranty) and found that the 1.5v motor handling rotation burned out. Thankfully a cheap and easy fix if you know electronics repair, but most people don't know that and would basically be stuck with a device that won't spin anymore.Basically, points for repairability (just screws), but please use better motors in your product so it doesn't have to be repaired.**update**I'm updating this review to say that Anteqi sent me a new unit after I posted my review regarding the blinking display, and it appears they fixed the issue. The unit shuts off completely when the timer is up and there are no longer red blinking 00s the entire night. With the problem fixed, it now works well as a auto off night light for my toddler. It calms her to look at the swirling stars & she goes to sleep afterwards. It's true that the stars are not very clear if the unit is far from the surface to be projected on, but it's not a big issue for us.**original review**The unit does mostly what it says it does in terms of projecting colored stars but the most annoying issue, the primary reason why I'm giving it only 1 star, is that when the timer is up, the "00" just continues to blink nonstop. I was using it to put my toddler to sleep but after 20 minutes, when the timer is up, I hear, " Mommy! Why is this red light blinking??" Which means I have to physically go into her room to switch off the unit, which completely defeats the purpose of the auto shut off! Yes, the spinning stars are off but not these annoying red blinking numbers! I don't know why no one seems to have commented on this in their reviews. I have to cover the display to bypass this issue but it's just incredibly annoying overall.Okay, so typically I don't take the time to write out customer reviews on Amazon products (I'm lazy that way). But I had to make an exception for this one. I bought this on a whim for my soon-to-be nine year old for his birthday and let me tell you, when I took it out of the package to make sure it worked, I'm hard pressed not to keep it for myself now!If you're looking for an actual constellation projector, this is not the item you are seeking. If, however, you just want a cool night light that doubles as a party light, you couldn't find a better deal. The materials are a bit dinky and I'm not sure how long it's actually going to hold up, but it's incredibly easy to use, has a plug in (so no batteries are actually required as long as you have access to an electrical outlet), and hoo boy is it surprisingly awesome! One button sets a timer, a second button toggles the globe between rotating and standing still, a third button turns on the 'soft light' view, and the fourth button alternates between a standard set of colors (red, green, purple), but then also combines them, turning your room into an instantly psychedelic hangout, where three moons, all different colors, rotate around your ceiling, and a cadre of multicolored stars blast your walls and ceiling.What's more, if you want to really get ridiculous, you can turn on the soft light, plus the multicolor display, then hit rotate. Your room has now just become an intergalactic dance floor jam-packed with moons and stars. No, it's not a lazer light show like you'd get with a $100 + set of equipment for a DJ booth, but it's probably the 3rd best time I've ever had on less than $25. I guess I'll begrudgingly give it to the kid for his birthday, but I'm definitely ordering another one, just for me!
