I ordered a timer specifically for a 15 year old Frigidaire washing machine. It is a part used by several manufacturers. Mine arrived in a box labeled Electrolux. No matter. It does what it is supposed to do! My machine is back up and running. The screws used to mount it to the washer (original to the washer) do not match the holes in the timer. Not a big deal. I had a couple of screws on hand that fit the new timer. If I hadn’t had any screws of my own I would have looked up the Electrolux part number for the timer to find out what size screws I needed and gone to the hardware store. If you are troubleshooting your washing machine to repair it rather than trash it… you are likely able to exchange out screws. This is by no means a problem with the part.
