the radio is not best, sounds alright just doesn't receive many channels.I bought this to use as a sleep timer radio at night when I couldn’t sleep, but it was difficult for me to use and the radio didn’t come in that well in my location. I will use it as a travel clock because it’s small and easy to readThis radio is working just fine for me, I use it in the garage.AM radio has very weak reception. I use this radio in a rural area and it gets ZERO stations. FM gets a few stations but all weak with poor reception.Very few small AM/FM radios out there. I like the 90 minute sleeper mode but no idea how to set the alarm, after a month.This is a nice sized small radio alarm clock with good sound that I got because it has presets. I am very disappointed in the way that part works.The radio scans the air waves as it goes up (or down) the band and saves any station that comes in well as a preset, whether it is something that I would ever listen to or not. Once it has filled in the preset positions with the first 12 stations it comes to, it stops scanning. I can't erase any of the stations or add new ones. This may not be too bad in an average sized city, but I live in a very large one and I can't get it past 100.00 FM. Most of the stations I would prefer to have are in the mid range and there is just no way to save those. A couple of the stations that the radio has chosen to preset for me as in foreign languages that do me no good at all.If you live someplace with fewer stations, you may think this is fine. Here, it doesn't do what I want at all and I am very disappointed. It is an improvement on my old radio, so I will keep it, but I will continue to look for something that suits my purpose better.The clock works great. The dimmer and all that. Wake to radio works great. I have read andre-read the directions and cannot get it to wake with chime/beep.Smaller than expected but works well on the nightstand. Sound quality is not the best but overall a good buy.Can't speak of the radio - I'm just using the clock -Works great -
