So incredibly easy to use and clean. It's a lot more powerful than the older slow cookers so it will take some adjusting time. I've only made 1 thing and it's possible I didn't take a thing or two into consideration. Will know more as I get more experience. I love that it has latches. The latches are not hard. They click into place easily. This slow cooker is NOT anymore portable than any others. I was hoping the cord would be detachable but it is not. You will still have to worry about it. The handles are great but they're only attached to the base. So you have to either carry the whole unit or like you used to and carry just the stoneware. No handles on the stoneware part. I love this slow cooker. I love even more that I got it for ~$8 (including the extra warranty) cuz of a gift card I had completely forgotten about and amazon kindly reminded me. They also reminded me of my Amazon Visa rewards points. Just excellent all around! Would still be worth the price even without all that.
