First, I'll list the positives: 1. This is a beautiful watch! 2. So far, it's keeping good time.Now for the negatives:1. You need a small wrist to wear this watch. My wrist is 7 1/4 inches around (18.5 centimeters). I can put the watch on and JUST close the clasp, but the watch is really too tight on me. When I wear this watch, it has to be for a short time only. It leaves a definite indentation when I take it off. When you measure your wrist with a tape measure, don't pull it tight. If your wrist measures less than 7 inches (or less than18 centimeters), then you can wear this watch without any problem.2. Operating the clasp closure is a bit of a challenge. At first, I didn't know if I needed to push the clasp up or down to open it. I finally figured out that I needed to push the clasp IN. Just press on it. If you can't get it to open with the pressure of your finger (I had trouble with that), then try using a blunt metal object. Don't use anything sharp! I used the blunt end of one of my crochet hooks. That provided the pressure I needed to push down on the clasp to get it to open. A clasp for a watch shouldn't be that difficult to open!3. There is no mention of the size of battery this watch requires. The battery information isn't printed on the back of the watch, nor is there any mention of the battery type or size in the booklet that came with the watch.All in all, this watch is so pretty that I will overlook its faults. And maybe if I lose a couple of pounds, that will help with the watch fitting my wrist better. It's an incentive for weight loss. Maybe for my next watch, I will go with something more practical. When closed it was far too tight for myself. It fit my 11 year old daughter and she loves it. I do wish it fit me because it's beautiful. If you have a very small wrist this is perfect. I'm glad my daughter loves it. I wanted to give 5 stars but it needs to be a bit bigger. Otherwise, beautiful, great gift, and works great. Wish it fit me...Ordered this as a gift and didn't read the fine print and was surprise to see it was a five pack. So not all the grand kids will get one for their birthdays. The work well.
