Works well when it is all set. But .... there is no easy or logical way to setup. There are no easy buttons that you will enter the time and click set. You need to follow the directions, and in my opinion the steps are not logical and there is no way I can remember them.Was not hard to set but that dont mean it works. I set the time correctly set the on time and off time. It would come on about 20 min late and shut of 10 min late or 5 min early. I adjusted the time earlier by 20 min and it would turn on 5 min late and off 5 min late. I finally gave up on setting it.First of all get yourself a seriously magnifying glasses to read the instructions then get ready to be upset to read dumb instructions with hundreds steps to follow.I have several timers of this type and this one is the most difficult to program.Very difficult to program. It’s extremely confusing as to what the sequence of the buttons are to program the on and off functions. The instructional video says repeat steps 1 to 5 but it doesn’t go through each step. It needs much more detailed instructions. It needs to repeat step-by-step. There are 20 possible program modes. It should go through each one of them because If you don’t press the right button sequence nothing happens.We use it on our fountain and it works great. No issues with weathering.Takes a bit to set up, but the sequence is pretty simple.Worked as needed for months, but after a recent heavy rain the display is no longer readable.Still works as a manual on/off switch, but haven't a clue if the programming still works due to the water filled unreadable screen.It's an outdoor timer, it needs to at least be able to withstand rain.Recommendation, cover it in a plastic bag or expect your screen to fail.Great for my pool and saltwater chlorinator. I've used it most of the summer and it stays on time to within a minute and that with power outages of over 6 to 8 hours.I did not like the product as setup is very difficult instructions are not clear, and it does not on or off when we do the setting as per the instruction provided in the manual.I would not recommend anyone this product.Garbage product. Worked for 2 days and now there is no displayReceived my timer in an open box and timer was used heavily. If I wanted a used timer I could have bought one for $5.This is ridiculous, do yourself a favor just buy from someone else
