I don't like writing negative reviews but here goes.First the good stuff. This timer is incredibly cheap especially considering it is a 4 event timer. Second, it is easy to understand and use. Third, when it works, the display is easy to read even from an angle. Lastly, it has a strong magnet and a stable stand.I bought one of these many years ago and it worked wonderfully and reliably until I dropped it. I immediately bought a new one last year. When it arrived, it worked fine for a couple of weeks then gave me a whole list of problems. I had a different timer that I didn't like as much and used that for a while. I took a chance that the bad one was an anomaly and bought two more. In short order, both went flaky. One would change its own time and eventually stopped working entirely. The second one will beep and cease working. It can be reset by removing the batteries and reinstalling them. It will work well for a while but then the problem returns.So, the bottom line is that 3 out of 4 of these timers were unreliable and unpredictable. Two of those 3 bad ones ceased to work entirely and the third has intermittent problems. I expect it will stop working soon. I hope the new timer I order today will arrive before this last of 4 gives up the ghost.The alarm sound on this timer is anemic, not loud enough to wake even the lightest sleeper. The alarm sound is not audible after about 20 ft separation. As a minor nit pick, there are two indentions in the package where the batteries for the timer should be. No batteries were in this packaging.Someone had opened the package, removed the batteries and resealed it in an obvious manner with clear tape. Solo he podido probar uno y funciona correctamente.I purchased 3 timers with first order. 1 of those was missing the plastic battery compartment cover. I then ordered another timer and when it arrived it had been opened, was missing the batteries, and was taped closed. It's a shame because the timers themselves are quite good and reasonably priced. Never again.Bought four, two were dead on arrival. Of the other two, one randomly resets when I hit any button, the other seems to have a lose connection and shuts itself off periodically.
