We use this for homework! Works well!This is a cute timer. Wish it was a little bigger. I have arthritis in my hands and a little hard to turn knob to set the time.This was bought with the intention of helping our 3rd grader time manage while doing this social distancing school.1. She really likes it, said it was cute.2. Works well and has a good ring, so if I'm elsewhere I can hear it in the house.3. It is very tight, the dial, so it's a bit harder to turn than expected.Overall a fun item to add to the school supplies.Purchased this for my kids daily reading time for school log books. They have to read 30 or more minutes a day and this keeps them accountable and accurate when filling out their reading time. It’s super cute and my boys love it! The little added booty crack on the back was also a big hit and got laughs for sure! Would recommend to anyone! Very easy to turn and has a cute bell sound when it’s done! It’s also turned out to be very durable. The silicon like shell has protected if from the tumbles he’s already had. It’s also easy to wipe down!We love this cute little guy! It needs no batteries, and you just wind it all the way back, then set your time. It has a nice little ring, not too noisy or obnoxious. Great for the kitchen, used for taking turns, or time out. My 3 year olds can't start it just yet, it's a little hard for little hands to turn, which can be a good thing. I love it!It's amazing how other reviews complain about it not buzzing when time expires. It's not battery operated and the product description VERY CLEARLY states you have to turn the dial to 60 minutes and then turn it back to the amount of time you want. It's a manual operation timer. That's how they work.That being said, this timer is fantastic. It's so cute and the texture is non-slip. It works perfectly every time even after being dropped on the hard kitchen for several times by my 2 year old.I agree with other reviewers who noted the dial was difficult to turn and that the timing itself is not that accurate. It's wicked cute though. I kept it, I just don't use it for anything that needs exact timing.Easy made way to help keep track of time. The bell is fun to alert the kids when reading time is up, 2 min for brushing teeth, shower time limit- the possibilities are up to you!**Remember to view the instructions- to set a time you first must wind the knob all the way 60 min in a CLOCKWISE fashion, then set your desired time going in a COUNTER clockwise direction.
