I bought 2 of these, 1 for the front yard and 1 for the back yard. I had to send the 1 from the front yard back I could not get the second hose to work. But they replaced it in about 4 days. They all work just like they are supposed to now. I never forget to water and can change my mind about how often.So easy to install. Very reliable. Used with sunjoe hoses which are also very good.It took a while and watching a couple of videos to figure out how to work the manual setting of my 2 port system once I got past that it works GREAT.They say NO tools. Hand tightening was fine no leaks.There is a hesitation when changing stations you will hear it click as it changes.Great product worth the confusion issue.This timer has worked perfectly and saved me an enormous amount of time. I don’t often write reviews, but this product deserved my time. It is easy enough to use that I programmed it without reading the instructions. It hasn’t leaked or failed in any way. I will expand my DYI watering system next year by adding three more of these timers!So easy to attach and set up. Been a few weeks and so far reliable. I just love how easy it is to read and mainly to change settings. I got the 2 hose output, wish I would have got one more outlet. Makes watering so much less of a hassle.Just what you need in a dry summer!!I like every aspect of this ORBIT product. I have it set up in my garden. The first couple of days I used to go out to check it to see if it was running. Now I don't bother as it is right there. A feature that I like is the timer will also tell you how many minutes it is until the next watering. So if you are working in your garden you know how many minutes until your water will turn on. I like that.If you need regular watering of your garden or plants, as we do in Arizona, this is a good investment! Buy one. Or better yet, buy two! I'm going to buy my second timer today as I like the first so well.Just installed these and they seem to be working great. Only gave them four stars as I have on idea how they will hold up over time. My old orbit lasted at least 3 years so hope these have same peformance.I replaced my old Orbit product which was an old version. It suddenly stopped working because of an elec tronic problem. With new batteries it would not switch on. So reluctantly i ordred a new one which arrived today. First of all I had great difficulty attaching hoses to the 3/4 inch outlet points. I never succeeded in attaching anything to the outlet black plastic.Then once attached with the brass at the top, it leaked between the brass and black plastic below, which of course because it is a sealed unit there is nothing I can do about it. I wish there was another product on the market!I brought the timer last May but it does not work this April (means it only works for ONE season only)!Contracted Orbit for a replacement for 3 weeks with the proper procedure but NO feedback !!!Very upset.Poor construction. Leaks like crazy when connected to the water outlet. I have to buy a bunch of O-rings and washers to stem the leaks. Still trying to solve what should have been identified and rectified by the manufacturer.Excellent product. Would buy again if I need another one. Easy to install and set up and has plenty of options. Just make sure to remove it before the freezing temperatures appear and remove batteries and store inside for winter !Works perfectly one set of batteries lasted all year long
