First off cord is only 30” and cant even reach to be on a regular 3’ night stand or be set on a dresser. So its not something you can move around the room to get better distribution of light. I watched the little video and assumed there was music with it but no music. Comes with different slides than some of the ones shown. There are 3 very similar star scenes and 3 circular top scenes. One was a unicorn. I would like to buy more of these to change it up from time to time. Rotation is a nice calming speed but does have a very low hum. There is no timer which means I have to sneak into my daughters room and turn it off at some point or leave it to run all night. Even on dimmest setting is pretty bright and does not allow for restful sleep. My kid can fall asleep with it but she doesnt stay asleep. Definitely a charming light but I was hoping for a lot more.I love how you can switch out different slides to project different things. However I don't like how "light" it is - it can easily fall off a nightstand etc especially with the extremely short cord it comes with. The bulb itself inside of it can be a little bright when the top is off but it's not bad enough for me to return. All in all I'm satisfied. My 2 year old is fascinated with it - and that can be both good and bad, lol.I can't decide if I like this nightlight or not. Our kids like it, and I suppose that's all that matters. The blurriness bothers me enough to want to send it back, but the kids protested when I said this. It also did not come with the films indicated, and had a duplicate. It was listed for $12.99 with an additional 10% off coupon, so perhaps I'm expecting too much for the low price. It's doing the trick for now so giving it 4 stars.The projector is very good and the slides are fun. The negatives are that the ring which holds the round slide on top is very cheap/ fragile and it's hard to keep the slide in while affixing it to the base. The cover is only for use as a night light and when you take it off, there is no where to store it. If your child is too young to touch it (like still in a crib), it's a good buy. My grandkids are three and four and all they want to do is play with it. Which resulted in a lost projector ring almost immediately. We've instituted a "no touch" policy. We'll see how long the thing survives.It’s amazing for the price! Totally projects all over the ceiling and wall. Only complaint is the top film comes off easily.It’s awesome!!It serves its purpose well. It’s not made from the greatest quality material, but it is still functional. The way that the different pictures are put in is kind of awkward and somewhat difficult (the circular section anyways), but again it’s doable. For the cost, I would recommend it.I really liked this product but I got the wrong projector sheets I had order the unicorn and princess and I got a different one . The product is really easy to use and bright just wish the cord was a little longer
