The Christian church today has inherited Biblical traditions which in some cases have been sanitize of their Jewish or Biblical origins found in the Old Testament. The reasons for this are complicated and obscured by nearly 2000 years of history but nevertheless the facts remain that most of the Christian church today no longer understands how the Bible reckons time or the importance of the Biblical calendar to YHWH’s redemptive plan for mankind.Often our ignorance of the Bible’s holydays and their importance to the Bible’s redemptive message degenerate into name calling. One of the most often heard is “legalism”.
